The OSISS is a national peer support network to help veterans, active-duty military, and families who suffer from Operational Stress Injuries (OSI).  It provides access to a pool of people who have shared and experienced similar struggles.

Veterans can tap into a wealth of compassion, wisdom, and experience to help them on their road to improvement and recovery.  Whether it is one-on-one or group activities, veterans have the choice of whatever type of support best suits their needs.  The first step is to contact an OSISS Coordinator.

The essence of the process is to provide one another hope, help, and empathy, in a confidential, respectful, and non-judgemental environment and to reap the benefits of engaging with others who have walked the same path.  OSISS support services compliment other mental health and family support services available to veterans.
