"In recognition of Terry Hunter's efforts to organize monthly events showcasing Canadian Military History at the Branch 314 Manotick, Ontario Legion, such as weekly Military History Beer Call discussions, a Military History Book get-together, a Historical Movie Night and Sunday afternoon History presentations all involving famous Canadian Historian Norm Christie, Norm presented Terry with a Mason jar full of First World War relics such as Shrapnel balls, Artillery shell driving bands, spent casings, bullet projectiles, intact bullets, various pieces of shrapnel and buckles from web equipment that he had picked up on the various Great War Battlefields in France and Belgium. Terry was very honoured to receive such a personalized gift from such a prestigious and knowledgeable Historian."
